Long time user

I have had one one of these from many years ago, I really tend to use all the space in the front of my car, its nice not to worry about over packing and putting a ding in the hood, I tend to see this happen at the track , you get in a hurry and slam the hood not thinking about the slop of the hood line, I have used these on 2 of my cars to date.

Design not quite thought through

The front Lid Liner (981) needs somewhere for the battery cover to hook onto. Maybe a small hole? Maybe a separate "lay-flat" eyelet?

Easy install, fit perfectly

I had a dent from below in my old 997’s hood. Even at a cheap body shop, it cost me $700 to repair and repaint it. I learned my lesson when I sold that car and got my 718 Boxster. Like the title says, the install was super easy, both front and rear fit my 718 perfectly; feels like a quality, sturdy product. I haven’t tried to put a tall suit case in the frunk or trunk to test the Lid Liners, but I’m sure it’s better than nothing. If nothing else I consider this cheap insurance!
